Yes. We allow pushchairs to be brought into the play barn at a charge of £1.00 (off peak) / £1.50 (peak).
Alternatively, prams and buggies can be left under the canopy in the undercover plant area free of charge. Car seats are welcome, and the car park is outside the front of Fosseway Garden Centre.
We are required to minimise the number of pushchairs in the play barn at any one time due to health and safety, and capacity limitations. Cleanliness is a top priority for us here at Fosseway Play Barn so by reducing the number of prams that enter we also minimise the amount of mud that comes into the play area.
No, only food purchased on site is allowed in Fosseway Play Barn. Gill’s Café can be found inside the play barn and serves a wide variety of delicious snacks and hot and cold food.
Alternatively, if you are looking for larger meal Timothy’s Restaurant also sells a great selection of food.
We also have a wide range of products suitable for those with special dietary requirements. This policy includes birthday cakes, so please contact us if you would like to arrange a birthday cake for your visit from our bakery (14 days' notice required for cake orders).
No. Your Fosseway Play Barn admission ticket allows you play on the specific date and time session of your booking. As there’s a lot to explore at Fosseway Play Barn, we envisage our customers wanting to spend the duration of their session inside.
If individual group members need to briefly leave during their booked time slot to visit other areas of Fosseway Garden Centre, our staff will allow this under circumstances so please speak to them on site during your visit and they’ll be happy to help.
No. Fosseway Play Barn & Fosseway Garden Centre is proud to be a smoke & vapour free area for the safety of the growing lungs playing in our play barn, and the rest of the centre. Smoking and vaping is not be permitted within Fosseway Garden Centre or Fosseway Play Barn or its surrounding areas.
We run 3x timed play sessions per day on peak days: 9.15-11.30am, 12-2.30pm and 3-5.30pm, and 2x timed play sessions per day on off-peak days: 9.15-1.15 and 1.30pm-5.30pm.
You can book onto one of these time slots in advance to secure your space on your chosen session. Because we want to ensure all our customers have a great time, we ask you to exit the play area promptly at the end of your booking to allow our team to fully clean and prep the area for our next session.
We do not currently offer family ticket prices, as we feel our pricing for individuals works out better for our customers.
We do not currently offer a membership to Fosseway Play Barn although we are looking to set this up soon. If you purchase tickets to Fosseway Play Barn online, you will be given the option to sign up to our Seedling Play Club, where updates and special offers are sent to our customers throughout the year!

You are welcome to pre-book onto multiple timed sessions per day, however all customers will need to exit the Play Barn at the end of each timed session so our team can clean and fully prepare the play area for the next session.
No. Unfortunately we cannot take reservations for tables within the play barn however we have plenty of tables available.
Tickets purchased in advance guarantee you entry to the Play Barn for your booked session, however it does not guarantee you a table.
Parents/guardians must always supervise their children. Children must be supervised by an adult over 18 years of age who is responsible for their care for the duration of your visit to Fosseway Play Barn. At no time can children be left in the Play Barn unattended.
Fosseway Play Barn and the soft play frame is for all the family to enjoy together, no matter what age! All of our play equipment and facilities are suitable for adults to enjoy too.
It’s best to wear comfortable clothes, ideally long-sleeved tops and long trousers. SOCKS MUST ALWAYS BE WORN by children and adults in all play areas. It is advised that jewellery, watches and loose items in pockets are removed.
Yes. As Fosseway Play Barn is on the same site as Fosseway Garden Centre there is plenty of parking, including disabled parking too.
No, however if you contact us before the start of your booked session by emailing us at email@example.com we will endeavour to transfer your booking to an alternative date and time to suit you (subject to availability). We are unable to split bookings, move single tickets or offer refunds for any missed bookings.
